Getting there
Academiegebouw
Best way to travel to the Academiegebouw is by public transport. It is difficult to reach the Academiegebouw by car. There are few parking places in the near area and there are no special parking places for disabled people in the area.
Public transport:
Bus route 2, departing from the central railway station, calls at the Dom square. Bus routes 3, 5, 9 and 11 call at the Janskerkhof. It is only a few minutes walk to the Dom square from here (see the map of the city centre). You can also walk directly from the central railway station to the Academiegebouw. This takes approximately 15 minutes. You can find the best route on the map of the city centre. It's also possible to take a taxi from the central railway station.
By car:
If you decide to come by car, follow the signs Centrum (Centre) or Jaarbeurs (Exhibition centre). Then follow the route indicated in the map of the city centre. The nearest car parks are on the Springweg (close to the Mariaplaats) or near the central railway station on the Catharijnesingel and the Rijnkade.
Town Hall (Opening Reception, July 15 - 17.00)
The Town Hall is only a 5-minutes walk away from the conference venue. The route from the conference venue to the city hall is available on Google Maps.
Province Hall (Conference dinner, July 18 - 19.30)
The Province Hall can be reached by bus. Bus route 11 departs from Janskerkhof and calls at Rijnsweerd Noord. Detailed information on getting to the Province Hall will be available at the conference.
